Wherein we get to blame our parents.

I’ve been convinced since childhood that I’m the only person I know who was traumatized by random conversations with my parents about things like eating things off the floor, not washing my hands and forgetting to lock the front door.  

I can now rest easy.  

I’ve been behind on Mates of State.  I was introduced to them by a roommate in 2008 and they have been on the rotation ever since.  Here is “True Love Will Find You In The End” originally recorded by Daniel Johnston from their new record of covers titled Crushes.  I’m digging the DIY feel of this video and LOVE that its filmed primarily in the subways of New York City.
